Sokoine University of Agriculture (SUA) and the Innoversity project are working together to help students who have innovative business ideas, particularly in the agri-food sector, realize their dreams and aspirations.

A team of researchers from Sokoine University of Agriculture, and their colleagues from RECODA and Sahara Ventures have won the research grant on Artificial Intelligence for Agriculture and Food Systems (AI4AFS) Innovation Research Network in Africa with the project titled “Enhancing Farm - scale Crop Yield Predictions using Machine Learning Models for Internet of Agro- Things in Tanzania”.

Chuo Kikuu cha Sokoine cha Kilimo (SUA)  kwa kushirikiana na Wizara ya Afya kimeahidi kufanya kazi bega kwa bega na wadau mbalimbali waliopo katika Mnyororo wa Thamani wa Bidhaa za Tiba Asili kwaajili ya kuibua Bunifu na kupata suluhisho la Kisayansi kuhusu changamoto zilizopo kwenye mnyororo wa thamani wa biashara ya bidhaa za Mimea Dawa nchini.

The aim of this important day is to promote the important role of the African Traditional medicine in improving the health of Africans. It is two decades now since the adoption and first celebration, this year’s theme is “Two decades of African Traditional Medicine Day: Progress Towards Achieving Universal Health Coverage in Africa”
